Luedji Luna, Xênia França and Larissa Luz will come together again in 2024 to resume the Ayabass project, created in 2018 with the intention of celebrating the development of the artists' careers and the changing narrative of black women within Brazilian music.
The singers and composers from Bahia return to the stage in this special trio format with a repertoire composed of hits from Brazilian music, including original songs from each of them. Ayabass is composed of a base band and three voices that take turns singing together and separately.
" There is no room for just one black woman, we are many, diverse, and capable of coming together to produce quality art together!" - Luedji writes on her social media.
Ayabass's 2024 schedule will consist of exclusive shows in some cities in the country. The first is scheduled for this Saturday, February 24th, at Viva Verão in Salvador, Praça Cairu (Free)
Ayabass will also be present in the line up of all editions of the Doce Maravilha Festival this year.
